MAXXIMUS MOD

A modified version of the Maxximus, this tool has all of the same features but with a 2 inch wide adz.

FHU are the original developers of the New York Roof Hook. If it doesn't say "Fire Hooks Unlimited" - aka "FARRELL HOOK" on the head, it is a copycat product not meeting the specifications.

Their hook has been around for over 25 years of successful service as the "official" hook of the FDNY. Developed by the experience of over 20 years of service in the busiest fire houses in the FDNY, if not the world, during the 1960's and 1970's (the War Years) 

 FHU participated in the development of this tool with the New York City Fire Department - Research and Development Division. Their all-purpose head, aircraft steel shaft, chisel end, and celtex grips makes up this unit. The chisel end is used as a prying tool for scuttle hatches and roof doors. The short lengths are good for going up fire escapes and scuttles to the roof. Accept only aircraft steel for lightweight, but strong tool.

Can also be ordered in fiberglass.

The most versatile hook used in the fire service today. This hook has a multitude of uses, from opening ceilings, walls, floors, moldings and casings to the rapid removal of wood, lath and plaster, tin and sheet metal, plasterboard, fiberboard and sheetrock. This hook was developed to find hidden fire in deep seated smoldering fires normally found in dumps or dempsey dumpsters. The normal hook just won't pull trash in large quantities. Our trash hook, because of it's two large six inch pointed prongs, will grasp debris in huge chunks.

This hook does it all. It can penetrate or pull all types of materials used in the building trades. It features two sharpened blades, one on the top for penetration during thrust and one underneath for slicing on the pull stroke. An arc hook on the back of the top blade is used in place of limited space. A chisel tooth of 1-1/2" right angle blade - tooth is sharpened to penetrate loose materials on the chop stroke.

Our portable pump tank makes other models obsolete. While other canvas tanks are single walled and burst easily, this is the only double walled pump tank on the market. A tough and replaceable inner bladder gives extra strength, making the unit durable, cost effective and easy to repair. 

This is the only pump on the market with "Lubeport" a new design which allows you to lubricate the unit without having to take it apart.

"Thick Walled" polyethylene plastic tank is thicker and uniform - will take rough handling and harsh environments.

"Non-slosh" rounded design keeps the unit comfortable, balanced, and steady. The full padded pillow comforts that impinging feel of other tanks. The unit is completely corrosion resistant - will not rust like galvanized steel models and is less expensive than stainless steel tanks.

Deluxe Model - Includes the above described unit, including padded and adjustable shoulder straps.

Double Deluxe Model - Has a female quick connect fitting on the tank and a male fitting on the hose. This allows removal of the pump to increase storage space of the tanks. No longer will the hose be in the way with its loop attachment. 

You can now store your pump and hose elsewhere on the rig. When using, simply connect the male to female with its quick connect application and you are in operation.

The latest in extinguisher (can) harnesses. 

Held in place by two 3 inch velcro straps. each strap has a holding power of 2700 lbs. 

A safety strap with 'D' ring goes up through the hanging bracket found on all cans. If for some reason the holding straps are torn open the safety strap holds the can from falling out. 

As you can see the can harness can be carried horizontally in one hand by the center vertical strap. Can be used on all extinguishers.
